A Bit About Me
I am a multimedia journalist with over 12 years of experience in digital content creation and more than four years in communications and outreach, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Journalism and Media Innovation at Emerson College.
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and I center my work on sharing community voices and lived experiences through reporting, on-the-ground photography, and digital storytelling. I focus on political and economic justice, with particular attention to how public policy and structural inequities shape everyday life. My coverage spans immigration, labor and equitable development.
In addition to reporting, I have extensive experience in digital communications and community engagement, including developing and executing strategies for political and community-led initiatives. I have worked closely with community-based organizations to communicate issues related to housing rights, affordable housing development, fareless transit, economic justice, and climate justice.
Through my reporting, I aim to connect individual stories to the political landscape and examine the civic and organizing strategies shaping change.
